Are PBN links against Google's spam policies?
Yes. PBN links violate Google's spam policies, which list link schemes, including links created mainly to manipulate rankings, as link spam. Google added a separate expired domain abuse policy in 2024. It covers expired domains repurposed mainly to manipulate rankings with content of little value to users.
- Penalties are real. Footprints, link patterns or manual review can expose a network. The result can be devalued links, ranking drops or a manual action on the linked site.
- No one can promise safety. A provider calling its PBN backlinks safe or undetectable is not telling the truth. We make no such claim.
