Our editorial policy sets 7 rules for every blog guide and service page on linkbuildingservices.us. It covers sourcing, pricing accuracy, sponsored content, AI use, corrections, update cadence and excluded topics.
The Link Building Services Agency Editorial Team applies these rules to every page before it is published and at every review.
What does our editorial policy cover?
Our editorial policy covers every blog guide and every service page we publish, with 7 rules that apply to both.
- Cite named primary sources only.
- Match every price to the pricing page.
- Publish no sponsored or affiliate content on the blog.
- Fact check every AI assisted draft by a human editor.
- Correct confirmed errors and mark material changes.
- Review each guide at least every 6 months.
- Exclude gambling, adult, alcohol and lending promotion.
The Link Building Services Agency Editorial Team page explains who writes and reviews our content under this policy.
Which sources do we accept?
We accept named primary sources only: our own service data, Google Search Central documentation and Ahrefs metric definitions. Each claim traces back to one of them, or it is stated as our own practice.
| Accepted | Rejected |
|---|---|
| Our own prices, turnaround times and vetting thresholds | Invented statistics or survey results |
| Google Search Central pages, including the spam policies | Research claims that name no study, author or publisher |
| Ahrefs definitions of Domain Rating and organic traffic | Figures copied from other sites without the original source |
| Client data published with written client approval | Made up clients, quotes, testimonials or results |
A number with no source is cut. A general claim with no source is rewritten as our own practice or removed.
How do prices in our guides stay in sync with the pricing page?
Our pricing page is the single source for every price, and guides quote its figures exactly. A guide that mentions a DR 10+ guest post quotes $62, and a guide on packages quotes $510 to $4,080.
- At writing: the editor checks every price against the pricing page.
- At a price change: every guide that quotes the old figure is updated in the same release.
- At review: every price is checked again, even when nothing else changes.
Worked budgets in our guides use the same list prices and the same 10% subscription saving.
Do we publish sponsored or affiliate content?
No. Our blog publishes no sponsored posts, paid guest posts or affiliate links. No outside company pays to appear in an article or to shape what it says.
Guides link to our own services where they help the reader, such as a guide on blogger outreach linking to our outreach service. Those links point to our own pages, on our own site. Our affiliate program pays partners who refer customers to us. It places no affiliate content on the blog.
How do we use AI tools in our content?
AI tools assist with research and drafting, and a human editor edits and fact checks every page before it is published. That is our policy for every blog guide and service page.
- Research: AI tools help summarize documentation and outline a topic.
- Drafting: AI tools help produce first drafts and alternative headings.
- Editing: a human editor rewrites, restructures and approves every page.
- Fact checking: a human editor checks every price, threshold and policy claim against its named source.
AI tools never supply statistics, quotes or results. Any figure in a draft that has no named source is removed during the fact check.
How do we handle corrections and updates?
We correct confirmed errors on the page and review each guide at least every 6 months. A price, service or Google policy change triggers an earlier review.
- Report: email support@linkbuildingservices.us with the page URL, the sentence and your source.
- Check: an editor confirms the claim against the original source.
- Correct: the page is fixed and its last updated date changes.
- Disclose: a correction to a price, threshold or recommendation is noted at the end of the article.
Typos and broken links are fixed without a note. Every article sits on the link building blog with its last updated date.
Which topics do we exclude?
We exclude 4 topic areas: gambling, adult content, alcohol and lending promotion. We do not write about them, promote them or use them as examples in our guides.
The same exclusions apply to our services. We decline casino, gambling, adult, alcohol and interest based lending sites as clients. Examples in our guides use industries such as SaaS, ecommerce, real estate, car dealers and local services instead.
Common questions
Can I pay to publish an article on your blog?
No. The blog accepts no paid articles, sponsored posts or guest posts from outside writers. Every guide is written by the Link Building Services Agency Editorial Team. Brands that want guest posts on other sites can order our blogger outreach service. Each of those placements goes on a vetted third party site.
Do your guides recommend your own services?
Yes, where a service answers the reader's question. A guide on outreach, for example, links to our blogger outreach service. Those links are internal links to our own pages, not paid or affiliate placements. Each guide also explains how to do the work yourself, so readers can choose either route.
How do I know when a guide was last checked?
Each guide shows its last updated date on the article page. The date changes whenever the content changes, including price updates and corrections. Every guide is reviewed at least every 6 months. A review that finds nothing to fix leaves the date unchanged, so the date always reflects a real edit.
What happens when Google changes a policy you cite?
An editor reviews every guide that cites the changed policy, ahead of its regular 6 month review. Summaries and recommendations are rewritten to match the current Google Search Central page. A change that alters a recommendation is noted at the end of the article. The last updated date then changes with the edit.
