Link quality standards every placement passes before we report it

Our link quality standards are the written checks every outreach placement passes before it reaches your report. They cover 6 areas: site checks, DR and traffic guarantees by tier, content, anchors, refused sites and tactics, and replacements.

A person applies these standards to every site, on every order. A site that fails one check is dropped, whatever its Domain Rating.

Our link quality standards are 6 sets of rules that every guest post and niche edit meets. They apply from the first site check to the life of the link.

  1. Site checks: 11 pass or fail checks on the host site.
  2. Metric guarantees: DR and Ahrefs organic traffic guaranteed for each tier at placement.
  3. Content: a native English article, written for the host site's readers.
  4. Anchors: one anchor and one target URL per placement, chosen by you.
  5. Refusals: niches, site types and tactics we never use.
  6. Replacement and refunds: written cover for missed guarantees and lost links.

These standards put into practice what high quality backlinks means on our site.

Which checks does every site pass before outreach?

Every site passes all 11 checks below before outreach starts. Our prospecting specialists run them by hand. The DR and traffic checks run again on the day the link goes live.

What DR and traffic does each tier guarantee?

Each tier guarantees its DR minimum and an Ahrefs organic traffic range, checked on the day the link goes live. A placement below its tier at that moment does not count as delivered.

TierGuaranteed monthly trafficGuest postNiche edit
DR 10+0 to 1k$62$59
DR 20+0 to 5k$82$79
DR 30+100 to 10k$102$99
DR 40+500 to 20k$184$179
DR 50+1k to 30k$286$279
DR 60+1k to 60k$388$379

Other services carry their own written thresholds. Digital PR links sit on DR 50+ publications with 100k+ monthly visitors. Brand mentions sit on DR 30 to 60 sites with 1,000+ monthly traffic. Multilingual placements carry a Moz DA guarantee for each tier.

What content standards apply to placed articles?

Every placed article is written by a native English writer for the host site's readers, with your link inside the body copy. The content earns its place on the site before the link does.

  • Guest posts: a new article on a topic the host editor approves.
  • Niche edits: a passage of 50 to 150 words added to a live, indexed article, matched to its tone.
  • Multilingual placements: a 500+ word article written by a native speaker of the target language.
  • Every placement: one dofollow, in content link, with no duplicate domains inside an order.

We refuse spun content and raw AI articles. Our writers make every edit a host editor requests.

How do we choose anchor text?

You choose one anchor and one target URL for each placement, and we place it as written. We advise branded and descriptive anchors, with exact match anchors kept rare.

A heavy share of exact match anchors is a footprint of the link schemes in Google's spam policies. Our anchor text guide sets out 8 anchor types and a starting ratio. Our strategy team flags any anchor plan that leans hard on exact match before outreach starts.

Which sites and tactics do we refuse?

We refuse 5 restricted niches, 3 site types and 5 tactics, whatever the client's budget.

  • Niches: casino, gambling, adult, alcohol and interest based lending.
  • Site types: private blog networks, sites built only to sell links, and link farms with no real audience.
  • Tactics: automated link programs, link exchanges, sitewide footer or sidebar links, spun content and forum comments with optimized links.

A high DR site with almost no organic traffic fails our checks too. Our white hat link building page maps each refused tactic to Google's spam policies. PBNs exist only as a separate, clearly labelled service, never inside our blogger outreach or other outreach orders.

A placement that misses its guaranteed DR or traffic at delivery is replaced with a qualifying placement or refunded. Tell us within 14 days of delivery.

  • Missed guarantee: a qualifying replacement, or a refund for that placement.
  • Lost link: free replacement on a site of the same tier or higher, for the life of the link on our outreach services.
  • Before work starts: cancel any order for a full refund.
  • Digital PR and media placements: a refund for any guaranteed placement we cannot secure.

Media placements carry replacement within 12 months, and community mentions carry 6 months. The full terms sit in our refund policy.

Common questions

Do you guarantee traffic after the link goes live?

No. The DR and Ahrefs traffic guarantee applies at the moment of placement, because no provider controls a third party site's future. We check both metrics on the day the link goes live. A removed link is replaced free on a site of the same tier or higher, for the life of the link.

Why is a high DR site sometimes rejected?

A high DR site is rejected when it fails any other check, such as traffic, relevance or outbound links. DR is easy to inflate with poor links, while real readers and rankings are much harder to fake. A site with DR 60 and almost no organic traffic fails our standards and never reaches outreach.

Can I review the sites before outreach starts?

Yes, on guest posts and niche edits. Turn on site approval in your order and we send a shortlist before any writing starts. Accept the sites you like and swap the rest. Site approval is not available on multilingual orders, because publisher supply in those markets is limited. Those placements still carry their guarantees.

Are all your links dofollow?

Guest posts and niche edits are always dofollow links inside the article body, never in a footer, sidebar or author bio. Digital PR links arrive as a natural mix of follow and nofollow. On those campaigns, journalists and editors decide the link attributes. Media placements let you filter the catalog by follow status before ordering.
